Barber: 1,200 Hours
This program is for individuals who do not have a Cosmetology License and are seeking a Barber License. The curriculum is designed to enhance a student’s learning with hands on experience with hair cutting and shaving skills. In order to work as a Barber in the State of Arizona, an individual must possess a Barber License. The course is taught with a combination of lecture, demonstration, student practice and experience on the public under the supervision of a Barber Instructor. Upon completion of the course, the graduate will possess the required knowledge and skills to pass the Arizona Board of Barbers Examination as well as ability to obtain suitable employment in the field of Barbering.

Barber Stylist: 200 Hours
This program is for individuals who have a Cosmetology License and are seeking a Barber License. The individual must complete 200 clock hours of Barber Training in a Licensed Barber School. The course is taught with the combination of lecture and demonstration. The students practice on the general public under the supervision of a licensed instructor. Upon complete of the course, the graduate will possess the required knowledge and skills to pass the Arizona State Board of Barbers Examinations and obtain suitable employment in the field of Barbering.
